Hello,
We are using Enterprise Vault version 6.0 in our client environment for archiving mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange 2003 server. One of the users have reported that he is not able to see his archived mails from October 2006. Enterprise Vault Extensions are installed in his computer and all the EV forms are loaded into his Personal library. He is able to see the archived mails from Archive Explorer when he is searching by the subject of the mail. I tried simulating the issue by opening his mailbox in another computer where EV forms are installed, but I am seeing the same issue. I migrated his archive mailbox to PST, but migration was not completed successfully. I tried to open the PST files, but I was not able to, until I cleaned them using ScanPST. I can see almost all his old mails in the PST files, but since migration was not successful, I am not sure if mails have been lost. The Export log says 7 items have failed. I ran the Export again by enabling DTrace for ExportArchiveWizard and below are the lines in the log that indicates errors in the export. Can anyone please help in resolving this issue?

The DTrace is showing problems with different files. There don't appear to be any problems, in the DTrace at least, with the October files you mention. I would suggest contacting Support.

I would navitate to the CAB and see if it can be opened by double clicking on it.
If it opens up then that at least shows the CAB is not corrupt but that intermittent error is occurring..

Thanks for the responses. But do you think there is any problem with the archive mailbox because of which user is not able to see his archived mails? I disabled his archive mailbox, re-enabled it and did a force synchronization for his mailbox. I had first exported his archive mails to PST last week, yesterday I did it once again and I was able to see that PST size has increased, so I think archiving is working fine. I can see 4 archived mails in his mailbox and that's what confuses me. I am able to open these mails and open the attachments as well. Or do I have to do something in Outlook? All 4 forms are loaded, sync forms option is enabled, in Offline Vault options, I increased tried increasing disk space usage in my test computer and in Downloading options, I turned on download items automatically when online. Nothing seems to help. :(

Thanks for the responses. But do you think there is any problem with the archive mailbox because of which user is not able to see his archived mails? I disabled his archive mailbox, re-enabled it and did a force synchronization for his mailbox.
