We have our "Sql Server Reporting" service running on our Clustered MS SQL servers. I have installed only "EV Reporting" software on the DB server. When I try to configure the reporting server, I get "Authentication failed for reporting user" in both our production and stage environment.
We have checked that the user "EVREPORTINGUSER" is a domain account, who is not locked out, no special priviledges, password are ok ,etc...
EV does not write any logs or errors to the event viewer.
Anyone run into this?
