Cannot disable archiving on mailbox

Hi,

When I attempt to disable archiving for a mailbox - I recieve the following error in the eventvwr;

I am also told the mailbox has not been disabled.

Anyone know why?

EV 2007 SP2

Is it failing only with this User, or with others, too?

Failing with other users too. Infact seems to be faling with everyone it wouls seem.

Are all tasks running normally?

Could you try synching the Mailbox archiving task?

Is EV running in read-only mode?

Ensure that the following registry keys have a value of 1 and restart the Enterprise Vault services:

• HKLM\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Storage\EnableArchive
• HKLM\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Storage\EnableExpiry
• HKLM\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Storage\EnableFileWatch
• HKLM\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Storage\EnableReplayIndex
• HKLM\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Storage\EnableRestore

Hi,

Yes all services running as normal - stopped and started the task controller service.

Checked the registry entries to ensure they were set correctly.

Ran the EV post back-up script to ensure EV was definetly in a non-read only mode. Tried disabling a mailbox and still failed.
