Configuring OWA for Internet and External access

is this possible

so we are running ev8 sp3 with a single backend Exchange and OWA

but we want to be able too goto https://www.internet.com/exchange and view our archives which is working

but we cannot goto http://local/exchange and click on archive explorer to view our archives

just refreshes the page

I am not quite sure what you want to achive.

Do you mean that it isnt possible for you to view your archived items when opening the OWA on the intranet?

yes it works from the internet but not from the intranet

You can selectively enable an "External Webapp URL"....  when users access OWA locally, it will use the internal name of the EV server, when users access OWA from the internet, it will use the external URL for search/archive explorer.

Sounds like you already have the External Webapp URL enabled however it may be configured to always use this...

Or I may be way off.. :)

looks like i've got owa configured for https:/enterprisevault but i'm just not getting the config setting for inside the evbackend.ini

from inside the intranet they use http:// not https://

Also our exchange is 2003
