Hello all,
We use the Building Block setup to have our DR in place.
This has been tested, and proved functional.
What is done (legacy from the past) is that on the DR-servers, all EV services are stopped, and set to manual. If a failover needs to be done, we obviously stop/start services on specific servers, adjust DNS, run USL, then carry on.
I believe that the services on the DR-server(s) can be left on automatic and running without an issue. The server itself won't be running any tasks, unless the USL has been done.
Is that correct?
Thanks.

I've certainly run a building block configuration with both servers running services post USL. Provided the DNS alias is pointing to the live server and the database entries for the live services have been correctly updated by USL then this shouldn't cause any problems
