Deleting Users in CA

Hello,
I have two users who are in CA and have reviewer roles but are not able to review items with criteria (Current action status author) in review messages. In the employee management the users are listed twice, one acct is an old disabled acct that is still in AD but as stated is disabled. I am wondering if anyone would know how to remove this incorrect employee.

I'm not sure you can remove employee's like that...I thought once something was in CA, it stayed that way ferever as part of an audit trail.
