Hi,

Can someone please clarify if Enterprise Vault automatically Archived the Mailbox that I have disabled automatically or do I have to manually set the archive to 0 just to make sure that I archive all email contents in that user mailbox ?

I need to know if the Email objects gets archived all of it before I delete the mailbox from the Exchange Server 2007.

Thanks

Yes, move them to a provisioning group with a 0 day policy.  You can have the provisioning group target an AD group and then EV will automatically assign the 0 day policy when you move the users to that AD group.

Follow the steps in this technote and you should be good to go.

so the proper steps when the employee resign or no longer with us is as follow:

1. Set the mailbox archive to 0 day then let the weekly/daily archive job running as normal
2. Disable the account from Active Directory after the weekly/daily archive job running successfully.
