EV 11 and Outlook 2013

Hi

We have EV 11.0.1.3598 add-in installed, and are using Outlook 2013.

If a user is enabled for EV the Enterprise Vault meny appears in the menu line, and everything is OK.

In addition there is a "enterprise Vault "banner" on every mail. If a EV enabled user opens this "banner" there is information if weathere the mail is archived or not.

for a user which is not EV enabled, the Enterprise Vault menu is not visible. However, the "banner" in every mail is visible, and if the user clikc on it, it will say that "You ares not enabled for for Enterprise Vault".

Must this "banner" be visible for users without EV, is it possible to remove this for every mail?

Frmo the small screenshot it looks like you deployed the EV Mail App?

did you deploy the EV mail app to the whole exchange org? if that's not what you wanted, perhaps deploy it only to your EV enabled users instead.

This is by design. Since we have got no extensions for Exch2013, we cannot differentiate shortcut and actual mail. This EV button helps us to know if the mail is archived or not. Consider enabling OMA only for archive enabled users.
