EV 2007 SP1 and Exchange 2007 SP1 with CCR

Hi guys,

does anyone know if Enterprise Vault 2007 SP1 supports archiving on an active-passive Exchange 2007 SP1 with CCR (Cluster Continues Replication)?

Hi Paris,

As far as I am aware (we got this question push to Symantec 1 week ago :))

Exc2007SP1 will only be fully supported by EV2007SP2 (release date rond mid/end Q1 I think).

CCR is well supported.

We did delay the roll-out of the SP1 of Exchange because of Vault Support.

Yesterday the SP2 of the EV 2007 has been released. So can I tell to my customer that we can proceed with the installtion with EV2007 SP2 ?

I haven't been able to find any explicit mention of the support of Exc2007SP1.

I'd be you, I'd wait a bit before deploying.

I'll also be waiting, as I have to deploy SP1 for Exchange

We deployed Exchange 2007 SP1 with EV 2007 SP1 and it all worked perfectly...

We have Exchange 2007  CCR  SP1 currently with EV 2007 SP1 and it works like a champ. Only disadvantage is when you install Exch 2007 SP1, OWA for archived enabled users won't be working anymore; therefore EV 2007 SP2 is released last week.

As per latest ( January 2008) compatiblity guide, Support for Exchange 2007 SP1 is still in "Pending" State.

Latest news I got : the "pending" should be changed into a "full support" within the next two weeks (a little less now).

But well, until it's not written, I'll keep EXC2007 RTM & EV2007 SP1.
