A collegue found an issue with EV icons disappearing from a user's Outlook. With versions SP3, 4 and 5 of EV 8 and using Outlook 2003 SP3, he found a situation where the client would not display the store in vault or restore from vault icons on the toolbar. When attempting to select the buttons from the toolbar menu, they showed checked off but greyed out. Upon removal of the two Microsoft patches MS10-036 (KB 983235) and MS10-087 (KB 242930), the buttons reappeared.
I was curious if anyone has also experienced this issue. It seems this is also causing stability issues with Outlook and caused the client to crash. This in turn corrupts the user's OST file.
