EV Client with Windows 7?

Guys,

Has anyone got any current views on how combatible EV Clients are on Windows 7, outlook 2007/2010?

I have seen some old posts with RC's, but would like to know about how things look today?

I have checked over the compatibility charts and there does not seem to be anything in there. Does anyone know of any documentation to help with this question?

Windows 7 is certified for the EV8 clients but not for Outlook 2010 as its not even released yet

How about the 7.5 Client? Is that certified for Windows 7?

No, only EV 8 sp 3 and above.  It is documented in the compatibility charts.

It shows this note:

Bloody excellent Tony! :) I have been looking for a reason why my company needs to upgrade the EV Client rather than just drop it from our 8.0 SP4 upgrade plan.

I'm going to use "How to move an Enterprise Vault (EV) SQL directory and store databases from one SQL server to another by Symantec" and wonder if anyone have done the same and success, or are there some considerations that must be done before the move of DB's ..

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated ..
