We have EV 6.0 SP3, and use the lite client 6.0.3.8000.0.http - one user is able to retrieve some items from the vault without problems. However for some other items, she gets the message 'Enterprise Vault is locating the item..... timed out'.
User has Outlook 2003 SP2 - Cached mode is disabled - RPC over HTTP is not enabled. Initially she was attempting from shortcuts located in a PST file. This normally works fine, but to eliminate other possible issues, I even got her to move the shortcuts to her Inbox and to try from there. Still no success - she still gets the same message.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I haven't yet opened a support case for this issue.
