Enterprise Vault 7 and Outlook 2000 offline vault question

Hello,

I have a couple of questions about Outlook 2000 and it's 2GB .ost limitation and how that involves EV offline vault.
-Could someone explain to me exactly how the offline vault works as it pertains to where the EV vaulted messages go?
-Do they just get stored in the .ost file..hence I have to worry about the 2GB .ost limit in Outlook 2000?
-Does EV address the 2GB limit by having the EV client installed or am I still at the mercy of the 2GB limitation?
-Also does it matter if I have pushed the LITE or FULL client?

Offline does store files in a sort of OST/PST file with a .DB, but they are broken down into Quarters (of the calender year) and very rarely make it to 2 GB.  The Max size is the for the total size of all of the files.

Does not really matter if you push full or lite client when dealing with Offline vault.
