Enterprise Vault - Additional store

Hi guys,

We have a client using the latest EV, and their Server only has a few GB left so we're putting a plan together to expand their available space.

We have decided on one of the following options:

1) Windows Storage Server

2) NAS

My question is, can you create an additional mailbox store on either/both of the above and use a mapped drive or UNC path?  Thanks.

Yes, you can use an UNC Path for an additional Partition

dont forget that the indexes for existing archives will still grow. i assume part of your plan is to move archives to the new storage location so dont forget you may need a new index location too :)

Why moving archives?

I think it's only the archive-storage, not the index storage which is running out?

If yes, then creating a new *partition* is absolutely sufficient, no need for a new *vault store* or moving archives ;)
