Enterprise vault journal mailbox

Hi,

We have concern regarding EV journal mailbox database. We have created journal mailbox database on local drive instead of storage drive.

Can we move EV mailbox journal database to DAG to achieve high availability.

What I would do:

Create a new Journal Mailbox in a database already in the DAG (or create a new database, then create a new Journal Mailbox). configure EV to archive from that Journal Mailbox (new task, system mailbox etc). change the Journal Rule(s) to get messages send to the new Journal Mailbox. allow the old Journal Mailbox to empty (by keeping the old task running).

Option 2 same in preparing, but now set the old task in report mode, and let the MSMQ for the old task empty. Stop the task. connect to the old and new Journal Mailbox using Outlook, then move remaining messages from the old Journal Mailbox into the new one.
