Hello all,
we are experiencing an issue with the migration of FSA placeholders on a netapp.
The placeholders should be migrated from one volume to another one on the same filer. When executing FSAutility with
fsautility -pm -s \\filer\share$\folder1 -d \\filer\share2$\folder2 -csf -l 1
the following error appears:
Error: Unable to migrate placeholders. There was an error in determining whether the Enterprise Vault server on which you are running FSAUtility is registered with the destination NetApp file server's FPolicy.
Troubleshooting until now:
- verified that both source and destination are added as FSA volume
- verified that fpolicy is correctly registered on the filer
- verified that there is not already a directory structure present at the destination which maches folders of the source
