I have noticed this twice now:
I set both a volume and a folder policy to ignore files with explicit file permissions. But at the OS level when you create a file under a folder it will inherit "most" of the permissions, meaning it will not inherit the "Creator Owner" group.
So when I run an archive pretty much all my files will not get archived because technically their permissions do not match the parent folder because it looks like they are missing the "Creator Owner" Group.
I have seen this specifically on Win2003 SP1 and R2.
Any one else seen this behavior or have a work around?
