FSA File Groups - Select files with no extension

When adding file types to a File Group, What's the correct way to specify any file that has no extension? I've tried using just "*", but that appears to include every file.

Andy

I honestly dont think there is a way, you'd probably have to make an enhancement for that
Are you looking to exclude the extensionless files?

Yep, someone asked me that the other day and as JW says there is no way as far as I am aware either. In fact I was told that *.* did not archive them either. You can always ask your SYMC account manager to discuss with Product Management Team or add it as an idea.enhancement via Connect.  What software out of interest creates files with no extension?
