Hi,
First a quick description of the setup.

Enterprise Vault 8.0.2 Installed on a 2003 32 bit server.
SQL server installed on a 2003 32 bit server with SQL 2005.

Arhiving from Exchange 2003.

Exchange setup.

1 Frontend
2 Backend servers in a MS cluster.

OWA installed on frontend

EV OWA extension installed on the frontend and the backend servers.

One ISA 2006 Server that has the rules and the certificate for Webmail from external.

My problem here is , i dont know how to configure The ISA server, EV and OWA so it will be accessible from the internet.

And i also want to know if i understand the communication correct here.

Can i get the communication from external against OWA to work with EV without to publish the EV server to the internet ?
Can i use the certificate for owa and then proxy the request to EV thrue the ISA server ?

All is working from the internal net when i set the owa rule to direct instead of proxy.
I have followed the theese guides.
http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/305637.htm <-- Is this the correct one for my scenario ?
http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/328473.htm <-- i tried the settings explained in this pdf.

http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/308450.htm <-- does theese instructions apply to my case ?

I am relly confused here , how should i do the configuration to get this to work ?

I really appreciate all help i can get here.

Thanks !

Hi

If you have an Exchange 2003 Environment, you should be able to get it working without any need for publishing with ISA.
There is a concept called "Proxy" which, get the requests directly from the OWA frontend and routes the request trough to EV (without the need for ISA publishing)

So, all of those technotes you describe are not applicable.
(They ARE applicable when you have OWA 2007, tough!)

Cheers
