Multiple EV Sites and Archive Access

Hi,

The scenario is that I have 3 regional EV sites and Archives based on one need to be accessed from colleagues based on another. 'Search Vaults' and 'Archive Explorer' from the Outlook Add-In or OWA/Webmail are no use in this situation.

Providing the colleagues the /Search.ASP and /ArchiveExplorerUI.ASP pages on the relevant server is OK and works just fine. However this is becoming more common and I'm trying to find a 'smoother' way.

My best workaround is an Outlook folder redirecting to the /ArchiveExplorerUI.ASP web-page, this works in Outlook or OWA/Webmail.

Anyone have any experience or suggestions on working with Archives across multiple EV sites?

(This is EV9 at the moment but will be EV10 soon.)

Honestly that's the only way you can do it, the folder in outlook I've done before and it worked well, but there no other options The only option you have in cross site functionality is the web app URL setting in the desktop policy that means if I double click a shortcut from site B it will know to look in site B and not siteA for the item efc
