Hi,

Well a customer has the following problem:

One user was deleted from EV, after he was fire, the administrator delete the account, but not his vault store, and never was deleted from the Active Directory. After a time the boss was need reviewed the email of the user was fire. Well, the administrator recretae the user and enable the account in EV server, the problem is that the archived messages are not connected. If they open using OWA, only the headers can be read, but they cannot open the items. What are the procedure to reconnect the storage to open the items of this user?

The EV is for Exchange, the version of EV is 8.0 SP4.

Regards,

Carlos Espinoza

Are you absolutely sure the user wasn't deleted from the Vault Admin Console?
If the users archive was deleted then you would have to do a restore to a Disaster Recovery environment and then export the users archive to a PST file.

You may want to check the Vault Admin Console -> Archives and then see if the users archive is listed there and make sure its the original archive and not one thats newly been created

If the archive exists (as JW points), in the Vault Console, doubleclick the archive. Goto tab Permissions, and add the one requiring access to the list with access. Click Ok, close.

Now, in Archive Explorer of the one you gava access, rightclick in the LEFT side of the screen, and choose refresh. The archive should appear there, and you can browse/search it.
