Hi all :)
We are migrating from exchange 2003 to 2010.
Part of this is getting rid of EV.
I have exported the contents of my archive back to my mailbox. I then deleted my archive.
WHen I go into my inbox I now have a bunch of duplicated emails, the "restored" and the "shortcut" one.
What is the easiest way of deleting these shortcuts? we have about 35 archives to do this to and I want to make it as simple as possible
thanks
Tracy

Hi,
You need to make change in to the Policy to make setting Shortcut Deletion, Orphaned Shortcut deletion and Run the archiving Task.

Hello TRP,
If you have the ExchangeMailbox Archiving task still on the EV Server, then you can make changes to the Mailbox policy associated with those users.
Once its compelted shorctus should be deleted from all users MAilbox.
I hope this helps !!!

What version of EV is in use? If it's an old version then shortcuts won't be removed for those items which have been moved from the original location of where they were archived. If it's a new-ish version.. that shouldn't be a problem, unless shortcut processing is turned off.
