How to upgrade EV 9.0.2 to 10

Hi All,

I am planning to upgrade my existing EV enviroment from 9.0.2 to to EV 10.

So my plan is to bring a new 64 bit H/W install 9.0.2 binaries use the below symantec technote steps mentioned migrate to diffrent server with diffrent name.

Then once i have moved the configuration from Windows 2003 to windows 2008 server i will perfrom an inplace upgrade on the new ev box which hold windows 2008 and EV9.0.2

Does this sounds ok to you guys.

I recommend using the Server Migration Wizard.

I used this just last week with no issues.

But if you don't want to go that route, then yeah, your steps look right.  :)

Yeh, use the Wizard - it does what it says on the tin. Make sure you read the docs and understand what's needed, but the wizard is good. Personally thinks it's a great little tool :) (but then I am biased)
