Is this a bug in EV 2007 SP2/SP3 "archive properties" window?

Does anyone else experience this? See if you can recreate it. I first started noticing it in EV 2007 SP2, but it is also in SP3.

1. Open the properties of a mailbox archive of a user with "Limit Archive Usage" set to "Use Site Settings".

2. Change "Use Site Settings" to enabled and put a figure besides zero in the "Archive size limit" box.

3. Turn on "Approaching the size limit" for notification options.

4. Move the active radio button from "megabytes remaining" to "% used"

5. Look at your "Archive size limit", what happens to it?

If you mean that this switches back to a 0 value then this is happening in my 7 and 2007 test systems so it must have always been this way.

I will mention this to our engineering department

Hi Paul,

Yes, that is what happens to me too. I started noticing users I had recently increased quotas for were very quickly getting "Limit Exceeded" by the next day. This ended up being the reason. :)
