Journal Archive does not show up in Archive Explorer

Hi,

When I perform archive on a Journal Mailbox using the Journal Archive policy, the archive did work and I can search the archive item thru the search vault function. However, when I use Archive Explorer with IE and logon as a user with Full access right to the Journal Archive, the Archive does not show up in the tree view. Is this behavior by default? Or if there's anything wrong?

I don't think the journal shows up in AE.

Hi,

yes, that correct behaviour. The journal is just the inbox anyhow so what's the point of showing it. Together with the fact that it could contains millions of items, it's not an effective way to want to access a large amount of data. Just use search.
