Limit Button Access to End Users

I am in the process of rolling out the EVDesktop.msi to my organization. I do not want the Restore From Vault Button enabled for the users. What registry key or switch must I run so this button is not installed. I am currently running 6.0.2.0.

Any help will be appreciated.

Go into the mailbox archiving policy properties. Look at the advanced tab - desktop settings policy options and remove the restore from vault button and menu item.

One last question should this work on Office 2000? or is it only for 2003?

It will work on Outlook 2000/2002/2003.
