Lotus Notes / Enterprise Vault

Hi together,

we have a problem with Lotus Domino / Notes and Enterprise Vault.

After applying the NTF template to a mail database file we can use all Enterprise Vault actions.
But if we click on a archived message a error message will pop up saying something about a missing entry called '$EV_ARCHIVESERVER' in the notes.ini file. Do you have any hints for me?

Kind regards,

Nico

1) Open Lotus Notes from the client machine experiencing the issue.
2) Select Actions.
3) Select About Enterprise Vault.
4) Select Technical Support and verify that the Archive Server: entry is populated with the correct FQDN host name of the Archiving Server.
5) Next on the client machine verify that the notes.ini contains $EV_ArchiveServer setting with the correct host name of the Archiving Server.
6) On the Enterprise Vault Domino Gateway ensure that the "EV Housekeeping" task is running by typing show tasks at the Domino Console.
7) If the "EV Housekeeping" task does not appear to be running type "load evdominohousekeeping" at the console and ensure the task starts properly.
8) Verify that the EVDominoServer table in the EnterpriseVaultDirectory database in SQL is populated with the Archiving Server information.
The EVDominoHouseKeeping task is responsible for populating this table. If this table is empty then please contact Enterprise Vault support.
