Hello ..

I wonder if it's possible to move archive points in this way ..

The Root folder contains many sub-folder and all sub-folders have an Archive Point!

We want to remove all Archive Points for subfolders and put Archive Point on the root folder instead ..

regards

/Bo

You need to turn off the autoenable on the archive points for the folder, this can be done from the command line

Go to c:\program files\enterprise vault

run archivepoints.exe autoenable foldername Off

Then when this is done you will need to delete each of the archive points as i dont think it will auto delete for you

This is done by Archivepoints.exe Delete foldername

Repeat for each sub folder until they are all deleted

To enable a top level folder archive point

Run Archivepoints.exe create foldername

When I say foldername I mean the unc path to the folder \\server1\share1\subfolder or for top level it is \\server1\share1
