Moving EV servers to a different forest/domain

Anyone know of tech docs or whitepapers on doing this?  A customer is collapsing domains and we need to move the EV servers into a new domain.  They are only journal archiving, so there is only a few archives.

On a maybe similar note:  Can EV servers in the same site be in different domains?  I know a site can target multiple domains, but I have never tried putting EV servers in separate domains.  I have thought that one possible solution to my task is to install new EV servers in the new domain and add them to the existing EV site.  I am thinking if this works, we can change DNS aliases and run USL and that might work.

I don't think you can move EV Servers to a new Forest.

We have a tool which could help you achieve this, it does automatic export/import.

As for the EV Servers in different domains:

This is possible, but they must have a two-way trust.

They are only journal archiving, so if it isn't possible they will just start new with a new archive.

I was really hoping for some Symantec input here; I have been trying to get some help for nearly 2 months through the channel and other support reps, but no one has been able to help at all.
