Moving placeholders server2012

We had loads issue in the past doing a server refresh and using FSAUtility . WE then ended up doing an NTbackup on the windows 2003 servers and using NTRestore on the windows 2008 which worked a treat ..

However NTRestor not supported on Server 2012 an we need to do a FSA server refresh  from Window 2003 to Server 2012 ..

Any ideas ?

I believe from 2008 its snapshot backup, so why dont you restore backup on 2008 from 2003 and then use snapshots of 2008 to restore on 2012?

Hi Yobole,

You can FSA utility with -PM switch to Move the Placeholders and Archivepoints from Widnows 2003 file server to Widnows Server 2012 File Server..
