New functions in Enterprise Vault 9 - Changelog

Hallo everybody,

i want to know if there ist any Feature Changelog for the new Enterprise Vault 9 Version for Exchange Mail Archiving?

We have the Problem that we need the functions:
- Archive now and shortcut later for Exchange Mailbox Archiving.
- Keep the eMail Icon in Exchange Mailbox after Archiving with Shortcutting.

So far no feature list has been issues for EV9. The EV9 beta program is scheduled to start next week which will bring to light some of the new changes planned for the release of EV9. Please note that what is in the Beta may not make it to the full release for numerous reasons. I recommend you go to the IDEAS section of Connect and enter your request for these features in there as it is reviewed by engineering and if enough have demand for it it stands a very high chance to make it into the product

just as a matter of interest, why would you want to keep the regular mail icon for archived items?

Hermann, have you looked into VirtualVault at all? In many scenarios it eliminates the need for shortcuts altogether.

Hello,

because when the eMail is archived as a Shortcut the Icon changes complete into the sev icon.

So the User cannot see the replyd- and answered-arrow in the list and have to go to the sev browser
to search for the eMail.

shure, I know that in the VirtualVault you can see all Icons.

But we would like to let the user decide if he searches for eMails in Exchange Mailbox or in the VirtualVault.

the integrated outlook search will look through both so you don't really have to decide
