OWA extensions on 2007 Exchange back-end server Problem

I have 2007 CAS and mailbox server and install OWA 2007 extensions in CAS Server. When I logon owa, it is freezing. I got error message in event.

An unhandled exception was caught:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
   at Symantec.EnterpriseVault.Owa.ExchangeStoreAccess.ADHelpers.GetPrimarySMTPAddress()
   at Symantec.EnterpriseVault.Owa.Core.EVContext..ctor()

   at Symantec.EnterpriseVault.Owa.Core.RequestProcessor..ctor(HttpContext oContext)
   at Symantec.EnterpriseVault.Owa.EVOwaModule.PostRequestHandlerExecute(Object objSender, EventArgs objEventArgs)

This needs investigating via SYMC EV support so I would recommend you log a case.

Why you are awaiting response, does OWA start workiing again if you remove EV? Does the same thing occur when you re-install it? I think these would be two things useful for support to know and what I would want to know if I was troubleshooting this further.

Is a primary SMTP Address set in Active Directory for the User?
