Hi,
We have recently installed an exchange 2010 SP1 pre-production environment. We have configured the Exchange 2010 CAS server with OWA2010 extensions. Everythink works fine when I try to open archived mails and archive or restore new mails. But I have problem to open Archive explorer and search vault from the OWA 2010 web application. When I click on one of these features I get a 404 not found error. Can anyone give me a clue about how to resolve the problem. What may I have forgot to configure? What have I missed? Problem occurs when I try to use these features internally on the local LAN.
Thanks in advanced.

does it give you the URL of the 404 page?
Is it trying to hit something like http://yourCASServer/EnterpriseVaultProxy/ or is it trying to hit http://yourEVServer/EnterpriseVault/ ?

Correct me if I'm wrong since OWA is a bit of a pain :)
But that request shouldn't arrive onto your CAS server.
It should be redirected to your EV server.
If you use e.g. ISA you would redirect any request going to webmail.domain.com/EnterpriseVault to your EV server since the CAS server don't act as a proxy for search/AE requests.
Open and Retreive goes through the CAS but not Search / AE

Yup pretty much, all requests should go through the CAS server which communicates to the EV server via the EVAnon iis virtual dir on the EV Server itself.
then older versions of the OWA 2007 install you had to go directly to http://evserver/enterprisevault/ or have IIS publish or do link translation for http://casserver/enterprisevault go directly to http://evserver/enterprisevault
Newer versions of the OWA plugins will allow for the reintroduction of /enterprisevaultproxy like the OWA2003 installs use, so the url would be http://casserver/enterprisevaultproxy/archiveexplorerui.asp etc

OK, I don't have enterprisevaultproxy virtual directory on the exchange 2010 cas server. It was not added by the OWA2010 extensions installation. How can I get it there? Can I add it manually?
