Offline Vault

I'm currently using EV 6 SP4 ,Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003

When I enble offline vault on users Outlook 2003 laptops and set it to download only one month it still downloads approx 10% of the hard disk size as configured on the Maximum store size on the EV Server.

But I only want to download one month not upto 10GB?

Is there a setting to override this?

Does the user has a large mailbox? Offline Vault is not just storing what it downloads from the online vault. It is also pre-emptively caching what is in their mailbox (OST) to avoid having to download it later after it is archived.
