Opening a evault outlook shortcut and selecting 'Move' results in the creation of a new message

Hello All,

Noticed something today. If you open a shortcut in outlook and select Move

and chose your folder, it creates a new message.

Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

Hi,

I'm not sure, but can you check below:

1 - Right clicking on an archived item shortcut and selecting the 'move to' option does not return the error.

2 - Setting the Exchange Desktop Policy setting for 'allow shortcut copy' to 'on' will prevent this issue as well.

If you adjust the policy, don't forget to sync the mailboxes.

Regards. Gertjan
