This is a forum, if you need a prompt response and service level agreement you need to log a support call. If however you are happy for people to respond as and when then you are in the right place.
This sounds as if the user perhaps does not have permissions to the archive. Can the user open the item via search or Archive Explorer? Do yoy get anything logged in the EV Event Log? The request will be made via HTTP, does the request receive a 200 code in the IIS logs? Do any items open?
