I am just wondering how the vault determines what to archive?
Everynight the vault scans each users mailbox and will archive users mailbox that are nearing the size limit to roughly 80% of capacity. Though for some reason older emails with larger attachments stay live while some newer emails with smaller attachments gets archived. Just don't understand the logic behind it.
yeah it shouldn't be doing that. A lot depends upon your policy but in general it's always interested in archiving the oldest items first. It may be they are not as old as you think they are. Most important date is the sent/received date.
