Embedded object document email question

Dodo,

Why is it that when opening a shortcut message in Outlook the embedded image is shown in the body of the message, but when using Archive Explorer it is seen as an attachment.  We are running EV 6.0 SP4 with Exchange 2003 Sp2.

As far as I know, this is an Outlook Setting.
If you compose a message in "Rich Text Format", you will get the Attachment in the Body of the Message.
If you compose a message in "HTML" or "Text only" format, you will get the Attachment as a "separate" Item.

Seems like AE cannot distinguish between them.
