In the EV admin guide (Page 348), the steps for recovering EV to a differently named server has a warning that states “IF running EV in a clustered environment, do not perform this operation unless Symantec support advises you to do so”
Is the warning there because the step does not work in a clustered configuration? Or are there additional steps that need to be taken in a clustered environment? Any insight would be helpful.
We are essentially trying to recover EV in a DR scenario to standby clusters at a second location (SQL & EV). Out Standby clusters have different names, thus we are trying to follow the “Recovery of Enterprise Vault using Data-only” process
