Remote Access to DA

One of my users has asked that we provide remote access to our discovery accelerator installation via a reverse proxy, which is the method that we provide access to most of our other web applications.

Has anyone had any luck reverse proxying DA 6.0?

It shouldn't be a problem. I guess the question should be are you having any problems if so can you provide more info?

Sorry for the lack of information...

The issue I am seeing is that in order for our reverse proxy to work, the authentication on the IIS site needs to be set to Basic. Out of the box it is set to Integrated Authentication, which is what I want for my internal users.

So, I guess my questions are:

1) If I change the authentication method on the site to basic will anything else break?
2) Has anyone successfully reverse proxied DA v6?

Changing the authentication to Basic will require all users to provide credentials. Have you considered/tried selecing both?

If you enable both it still doesn't function externally.

However, if I turn on basic authentication only on the virtual directory then I am able to access the pages. However, this would require users to login to the site when they are accessing the site internally. I would prefer to avoid this.
