Running mixed exchang 2003 and 2010 archiving

Hi

I have a customer slowly migrating from an EV archived exchange 2003 environment to exchange 2010. They are co-existing.

I now how to set up archiving for exchange 2010 but in this case I wonder how to go about with the VSA account?

In which environment is it supposed to be in?

The VSA has to have a mailbox on the Exchange 2010 server in order for the throttling scripts to run correctly, for Exchange 2003 and 2007, the EVAdmin account never needed a mailbox before.

EV9 should run just fine against 2010 and 2003

We are in the same configuration and as Jesus told you just move the EVAdminAccount mailbox if you have one to Exchange 2010 ( for the throttling Policy) or create one on Exchange 2010.
