Hello ,

we are using EV 11.0.1 CH 5 for exchange installed on windows 2012 R2 servers.

I just saw that that the SMB 1 was installed on the machines.

Does EV needs it to function correctly or can I de-install/disable it ?

You can disable. It is in my environment, no issues

Hi sandrine_goetha,

I have seen issue with FSA file servers connecting to the EV server once SMB1 is disabled.  Noteablly, the fpolicy on a NetApp file server target will not be able to connect to the EV server and therefore recalls will not function. This update from MS disabled the functionality as well - https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/MS17-010
