Splitting a File Share

I have one volume currently being archived and I need to split this up across two volumes.  What is the best procedure for doing this.  I am running EV 8.0.

Hi,

Can you explain in detail about your current scenario. you are dividing volume at LUN level or at operating system level.

what is the size of that volume and i believe all files are residing on that volume?
