Storage Expiry

Hi,

I just tried to run Storage Expiry in report mode to see what the results would be.  This is the first time I've tried to run it in either report mode or normal mode.  I figured I would see a new report file in the reports folder, but there isn't one there.  After running it, the window showed that it was successful with no failures.  Should there be a report in the reports folder stating what should expire?  Thanks.

I just tried that on my Dev Box (haven't used Storage Expiry before), and I haven't got a Report File, neither, but i got the following Eventlog Entry:

Storage Expiry Report (Report Mode)

Vault Store Name: Store 1
Vault Store Id: 1BEEA20F813878943B075DD0980AC197B1210000evsite1.solarsystem.local

Number of vaults processed: 40
Number of vaults enabled for expiry: 40
Total number of expired items: 0

Items have expired with the following retention categories:
(none)

No items have expired with the following retention categories:
Public (999999 years).   Business (999999 years).   Personal (5 years).

Expiry based on archived date

Start Time: 15.11.2007 15:32
End Time: 15.11.2007 15:32

Could you check this on your Box, too?

Cheers
Michel

MichelZ is spot on.  The only record of an expiry run will be recorded in our Event log.

OK, great... I found the entry in the event log as you said.  I just figured it would create a report.  Thanks.

What should the event log/source/category/id be for the Storage Expiry? I can't tell that anything is happening. If I run storage expiry in report mode, i never see an entry showing what would have been deleted. When I let it run in standad mode, the vault directory never gets any smaller.
