We used the following:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/ev-mailbox-tasks-failed

it has the same errors exactly.

since adding the RemoveEmbeddedAttachments - we don't see that the task if failing in the meantime.

We will monitor and update here...

Do you see error 1000 in application part of event viewer related with archive task failure? How frequently archiving task stop?
I would suggest to start normal task troubleshooting if task fails (check GC, outlook, MAPI registry....etc).

Hi

No event 1000 at all, just events that informs that archive tasks are shutting down and this is a normal behavior.

I never seen this event before.

Just to be sure - I stopped indexing upgrade tasks, we'll see tonight if it has anything to have with the index upgrade task, as the shutdown of archive tasks are 10 minutes after the storage crawler events.

Hi Sarah,

1. Increase the message queue storage size for MSMQ.

For single instance non-clustered MSMQ:

1. Open Computer Management and expand Services and Applications
2. Right click on Message Queuing and click Properties.
3. On the General tab increase the 'Limit message storage' setting.
4. Restart the Message Queuing Service.

For clustered instance of MSMQ:

1. Open Cluster Computer Management:
   a. From a command prompt window change to the Enterprise Vault installation folder, typically C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault.
   b. Enter the following command: Clustercompmgmt

2. Expand Services and Applications.
3. Right click on Message Queuing and click Properties.
4. On the General tab increase the 'Limit message storage' setting.
5. Restart the Message Queuing Service resource in the appropriate cluster management software.

2. Check the path for the MSMQ storage location is configured correctly.

3. Also check whether you are getting the Error related to custom filtering fail ?

Since adding the registry key - all tasks are up and archive works correctly.
