Too many Archives

I have a project map with a lot of submaps ( think 40). Some submaps are very large ,so i chose that every submap of the projectmap beging a separate archive.

Now i have 40 archives when i look into the archive explorer. Is there no possibilty to have one map in the archive explorer which i can expand, so i can select my project / submap? Now it's cluttered.

Can you specify what module?  I am assuming FSA or SharePoint.

I doubt there is little you can do from the sounds of things.  Assuming FSA, when the target was added it was set to create Archive Points for those sub-folders and they each have their own archive.  You would need to restore the items back, delete the AP and re-archive to one big archive.
