Hello everybody,
I got a strange problem:
When a user tries to open an archived item in a shared mailbox he gets the error, that this item cannot be shown, because another software is required.
1. opening archived items in the users mailbox works fine
2. I tried the settings shown in article TECH128017 ( http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH128017&actp=search&viewlocale=en_... )
3. the Regkey "AllowScriptsSharedFolders" is set to 1
4. the desktop policy for this is alos set to "ForceOn"
5. I granted full permissions for the user in the VAC to the shared mailbox and synchronized both mailboxes. The shared one as well as the users own.
6. close and reopened outlook.
Nothing changes.
Can anybody help?
Oh, nearly forgot: We use EV 8.0 SP5 for Exchange and the client addIn is 8.0 SP4 with Outlook 2003 SP2 (Exchange-Server: Exchange 2007 SP3)

I´m sorry, but this does not solve the problem.
1. the regkey for ShareFolderScript is set to 1
2. in Outlook the box for allow script in sharedfolders is greyed out but it is checked.

can you show a screenshot of the error? because it saying other software is required doesn't make an entire amount of sense

Also a client trace... That might show us something.

This issue persists now since a few weeks.
Today I had a look on the users computer and checked the above things.
Now, when I asked the user to send me a screenshot of the error message he told me "oh what a miracle, it works...."
Thanks a lot for your support!
