This is certainly possible, however it requires careful planning and alot of considerations that you will not be able to get really from a forum. This is the reason there are virtually no technotes and documentation for this, as each migration is bespoke and there is no one size fits all document unfortunately.
I would recommend that you look towards some professional services assistance. I personally recommend Glasshouse - http://www.evtools.net/ and I dont work for them ;)

Yup I agree to What Don said Professional services would be best who can help you .
You can just refer this steps but would not suggest you lto not perform the steps and get in touch with professional services to perform these steps ,
Change the Vault Services, with the new domain\VSA
- Go to SQL and updated the ComputerEntry Table and under ComputerName, updated the table from the old domain with the new one.
- Restart the Enterprise Vault Admin Service.
- Check the Site Setting and the URL ideally it is http://FQDN/EnterpriseVault Update it with the new Domain,
- Then add the old Domain back into DNS and then create a FQDN and CNAME for the old domain that points the new Enterprise Vault server so all the previous shortcuts work. There mightbe issue with Dcom clients
I am also including a link to a Microsoft Document that may help you in resolving your DCOM issue if you plan on work on that issue,:
MS kb article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/259011 which will test DCOM connectivity between a client and server.
