hi
we are running evault 9.0.2 for exchange (2007 and 2010) and we have a pure windows 7 with office 2010 setup.
there is talk of migrating some of our senior staff onto the mac platform using outlook for mac 2011.
i have been testing this and it is working fine for us but we currently do not have a plugin for evault and i understand evault v10 has a plugin for mac outlook 2011
has anyone used the evault plugin for mac outlook 2011 and does it work just like the evault 9.0.2 plugin for outlook 2010 (or 2007 for that matter)
are there any gotcha's?
is the upgrade from v9.0.2 to v10 a straight forward one ? (I am running windows 2008 r2 sp1)
regards

Hello elbutre,
If the users were previously using Outlook on a PC and are being migrated to a Mac, you may want to look at this TechNote: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH157485
Hope this helps!

The best client for Exchange 07/10 is PC Outlook 2010. The toolbar addin is much better than the Mac version too.
This is the gotcha that we are experiencing:

does this only happen we you have multiple domains etc? we only have 1 domain and we do not use linked mailboxes
or do you have the same 1 AD and not linked mailboxes but still have the password prompt?
