How do you block netbackup from backing up the offline files. After the backup all the archived files are pulled out of the vault. I am running netbackup 6.0 mp4, and ev 7.
That's really more of a netbackup forum question than an EV forum question...but you can add the netbackup client agent exe to the regkey for exclusions (check your admin/install docs for the exact key), and that should at least prevent the EV server from spawning recalls during backups.
I'm surprised you are having any problems with this. We use EV 6.0MP3 and NBU 6.0MP4 and offline files are treated correctly. Is this a problem you have only encountered since moving to EV 7.0?
